Story Group are currently preparing a planning application for a proposed residential development on land at Netherhall Road, Maryport.
Marchfield, Dumfries
A Greenfield urban expansion extending to 100ha on the outskirts of Dumfries. Story own land representing approximately 1,050 plots.
Parkland Village, Carlisle
A new housing development built on the site of the former Garlands Hospital. The development consists of a mixture of 4, 5 and 6 bedroom new build houses as well as 2 and 3 bedroom converted and new build apartments and mews houses.
Turnstone Park, Carlisle
A Greenfield residential development within Carlisle previously owned and used by Creighton Rugby Union Football Club. A mixture of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom properties are provided as apartments, townhouses, semi-detached and detached homes. A central square of public open space incorporating a children’s play area has been provided. The development has been awarded secured-by-design status by Cumbria Police.
Marina Village, Barrow in Furness
A major brown field redevelopment scheme incorporating residential, leisure, commercial and retail used. The scheme is being developed in partnership with several public bodies, including Barrow Borough Council, Barrow Vision, Homes and Communities Agency and Northwest Development Agency amongst others.
Crindledyke, Carlisle
This development is currently being progressed to planning application stage. The development is on the edge of the city adjacent to the main employment area of Kingmoor Park. It is to provide a new urban ‘village’ with all properties achieving Code 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
