Business growth opens doors for new sales colleagues to join the team
Story Homes is creating new sales jobs and recruiting a number of staff to help support the company’s rapid expansion.
The house building company is looking to recruit ten new sales advisers to work on their housing developments across Cumbria.
The business is growing rapidly, with new sites due to open in Carlisle, Dalston, Kendal, Whitehaven, Lazonby and Appleby in the coming months. Recent new developments have included Cairns Chase in Stainburn, Whins Farm Close in High Harrington and Alders Edge in Scotby. Story Homes sold 250 homes in 2013/14 and plans to sell 400 in 2014/15, with the growth continuing year on year.
The current sales team consists of 15 members, with many working on their own housing development, building relationships with customers and supporting them through the house buying process, from reservation to choosing fixtures and fittings and completing legal documents.
Susan Pollard, Sales Manager, said: “Thanks to the expansion of the business and new developments opening across Cumbria and beyond, we are looking for talented and passionate sales colleagues to help us sell our homes. A sales role at Story Homes gives successful candidates the opportunity to be the face of the business, meeting customers and helping them to buy their dream home, one of the biggest purchases they are likely to ever make. It is an exciting and varied role for an outgoing and enthusiastic person.”
Story Homes has been building high quality and high specification homes for more than 25 years. The reputation of the company is growing across Cumbria, North East England, Scotland and Lancashire with many new developments in the pipeline. Story Homes are well known for providing first class customer care and after sales service, recently securing a ‘Five Star’ builder award from the House Builders Federation (HBF).
A recruitment event will take place on Wednesday 9 April between 4pm and 7pm at Story Homes’ urban village development in Carlisle, Crindledyke Farm. To register you attendance at the event, please call 01228 590444 and ask for Paula or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
