We now have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Commercial team based in Chorley. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will manage processes and deliverables for tenders and the resourcing of sub-contractors to ensure commercial viability and maximised profits. Using your exceptional negotiation skills and attention to detail you will identify, procure and manage multiple subcontractors to meet budget and business plan targets. You will assist with the creation of land viabilities as well as effectively producing / monitoring budgets and CVRs.
With excellent communication skills and a clear focus on customer excellence, you will build and manage effective relationships with multiple stakeholders and key colleagues within Story Homes to ensure the delivery of the business plan and continued growth. Previous surveying experience in the housing industry is desired but not essential. Good IT skills and experience of using COINS would be advantageous.
