Outline planning application
In December 2019, Preston City Council granted outline planning permission for our proposals to build 125 high quality new homes for this site.
Our proposals will create a sustainable and integrated development that would make an important contribution to the district’s housing supply. The proposed development will deliver a mix of one, two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, of which up to 35% will be affordable.

We are now preparing a Reserved Matters application for this site and more details will be made available early in 2020.
Story Homes consulted with local residents and key stakeholders on our proposals from 06 May 2019 to 24 May 2019.
Following the consultation, which included a letter drop to the local area, Story Homes submitted an outline planning application to Preston City Council in July 2019. It is hoped that the council will approve the development on the site.Register your interest Framework Plan
Meeting Housing Needs
The site will provide a range of family homes that will help to meet local housing needs, including the provision of new affordable homes within the development.
Our proposals will deliver energy efficient homes and will include measures to help reduce reliance on private vehicles.
Our proposals will result in an increase in local spend and support existing businesses in the area. They will help create additional employment through new opportunities for local sub-contractors and the supply chain.
