Story Homes is preparing plans to submit a Full (replan) Planning Application for 90 homes on land that is located within the Marchfield Area Development Framework. The Site was previously approved for planning as part of our H3/4/5 application in November 2011 and this application would be a re-plan of the area known as the H4/5 balance. Story Homes anticipates submission of the planning application to Dumfries and Galloway Council in May 2020.
We are currently seeking views from the public on this planning application and on 5 March, we hosted a community consultation event offering local stakeholders and existing residents from Summerpark the opportunity to review and share feedback on the revised proposals.

Our proposals will contribute positively to the local economy both during the construction phase and after the homes have been occupied by residents. The proposed development will help create employment through ongoing opportunities for local subcontractors and the supply chain.
Public Space & Landscaping
There are two areas of open space within this scheme as well as a leisure path which will go around the Summerpark development leading back to the Southern Distributor Road. There will be landscaping throughout the development including the existing banking area on the western boundary.
Our homes are built with sustainability in mind, with the aim of helping the environment and saving you money. The homes at Summerpark will be designed to incorporate high levels of thermal insulation, providing an inherently sustainable ‘building envelope.’
