As today’s National Customer Service Week theme is ‘getting the board on board’, we caught up with our founder and chairman, Fred Story, to hear his thoughts on why customer service is so important to our business.
Fred comments: “We have recently celebrated our 30th anniversary, and I am proud to say that customer service has remained a top priority throughout all the years we have been in business.
“I believe strongly in ‘doing the right thing’ and in family values, and this is why I am so personally invested in the quality of our customer service. In my role as chairman, I instil these values into the Board and Senior Management Team, as well as everyone who joins the businesses in my one-to-one meetings with them.
“Despite having won awards for customer satisfaction, we never stand still. With a team now in place to prioritise the customer experience, and the work they have done so far to introduce new technologies, personnel and systems, I am confident that the service we provide can only improve.”
