In my role as Technical Manager at Story Homes, I manage the technical function for a number of our developments in Cumbria and South-West Scotland. As a team we manage both the engineering and design processes from project commencement to completion for a number of our housing developments.
The process of design development of any complex project is heavily based on teamwork. As a result I would say the most important lesson I have learnt is the importance of clear and timely communication across the project team.
Having been involved in each of the Story companies during my earlier career, I had a clear understanding of the company’s values and ambitions. Story Homes had also proved to be a company that looks after its workforce and rewards hard work – this made them my first choice having graduated from university.
