Story Homes’ latest development in Lancashire has launched in style.
Deposits for two properties were handed over on the first day of sales at Brookwood Park — a development of 117 new homes in Kirkham.
The sales came at an exclusive launch event which was held at the nearby Villa Hotel for potential customers who had signed up for information about Brookwood Park, which offers a mix of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom properties all finished to a high specification.
“The scheme at Kirkham has been really well received and we’re delighted with the level of interest even at this early stage,” says Story Homes North West Sales Manager Hayley Blair.
“Right now Story Homes is still relatively unknown in Lancashire but experience has shown that the more people discover about us and the levels of quality and professionalism embodied in our properties, the more interest will grow.”
The sales cabin on the site at Kirkham is now open between 10.30am and 4.30pm, Thursday to Monday, and a show home is due to open at Brookwood Park in the Autumn.
Work on the site is now well underway and includes preparation for the new roads and sewerage required for the development. Accessed via Blackpool Road, up to 30% of the homes are classed as ‘affordable’ for local people.
Story Homes was awarded a UK Property Award in 2014 for its High Wood development in Lancaster. The development, on the site of the former Lancaster Moor Hospital, was recognised within the industry as one of the country’s top housing development sites.
