Homes were snapped up at our latest development of exclusive new homes in Blackburn – The Sycamores, which were launched on Thursday 18 January at Stanley House Hotel and Spa. Homes are now available from our Pendleton Grange marketing suite in Clitheroe, until the marketing suite opens on site in Spring.
The highly anticipated development features 205 homes, including three, four and five-bedroom detached and semi-detached homes providing up to 1,905 sq ft of living space.
Home buyers attended the exclusive launch of our first development in Blackburn and were able to secure the initial homes on release. More than 50% of the homes released have been reserved with six families securing their dream home. House hunters travelled from across the region to the event to view our range of properties including eight new house types and to find out more about our premier specification.
Exteriors are finished in a mix of high quality stone, brick and render adding to the charm of the area and creating the stunning street scenes for which we are renowned. Whilst the interiors, in most of the houses, includes bi-fold doors, a double oven, gas hob, integrated dishwasher and fridge / freezer in the kitchen. There’s a range of stylish door furniture finished in oak to match the banister rails. Our luxurious bathrooms and en-suites are beautifully finished with spacious walk-in showers and stylish taps and extensive Porcelanosa tiling in the bathroom. Each home also comes with a fully turfed front and rear garden and block paved driveway as standard.
One of the first customers through the door, Adele and Simon Roberts, knew exactly what they wanted after visiting our show homes at Waterside in Preston where they fell in love with the Warwick house type. They were delighted a Warwick was in our first release and secured their home within an hour of the doors opening at the exclusive launch.
Celebrating on reserving their new Story Homes with flowers and champagne, Adele said “We have sold our house and have been looking around for a new build home. We’ve been waiting for this development to launch after viewing the Warwick show home in Preston. I love the wow factor this house has as soon as you open the front door with the gallery landing which is so impressive. It’s got lots of room both upstairs and downstairs which is perfect for our twin girls and we’ve now got extra space for when family visit.”
A further three families secured a home during the launch event with Marie and Ste Short, the second purchasers commenting: “When we came through the door we knew what space we needed but as we’ve never visited a Story Homes development before we didn’t know what house types were available. We’ve been looking for a new build home for a while and have friends who fit their bedroom furniture who recommended Story Homes to us – promoting what great quality homes they build with great design and always come with a high specification.
“I’ve had a look on your website at developments available and the house types, however, the sales team have been fantastic taking us through the layouts and guiding us around the site plan and homes available. We’ve reserved the five-bedroom detached Mayfair as it’s the perfect home for us and ticks all our boxes. We love entertaining so to have bi-folding doors in the family/kitchen and dining room as well as the lounge which overlook the garden is perfect. We’re ecstatic to secure this home and we’re going to visit the show home in Lancaster to have a look around and get some ideas!”
