St Andrew’s View is a development of 69 Story homes located in the beautiful village of Thursby.

Car sales support manager Rachel Seal her husband Shaun and her 15-year-old daughter Olivia moved into their new-build home at St Andrew’s View at the end of 2017. Rachel had lived in Carlisle her whole life, but the family was keen to lay down roots out of the city after being inspired by other family members who made the move to village life. Rachel explained:
“I’ve lived in Carlisle all my life, but we’ve always had our sights set on Thursby as it’s just so idyllic, but close enough to the town centre so that all amenities are easily accessible. We began looking at options in the autumn, and as my parents already live in a Story Home and I’ve admired the quality of the build and finishing touches, we approached Story Homes to see what they could offer.”
Kenneth and Sonia Thorn purchased their new Story homes back in December 2018, opting for a three-bedroom detached ‘Banbury’ bungalow at St Andrew’s View. This is the second Story home that the couple have purchased for themselves, and their two daughters also own homes built by the local developer – making it four in total for the family. Regarding the couple’s favourite features of their new bungalow, they said:
“We love our lounge – it overlooks a large garden with trees to the rear. The development is in a lovely, quiet location and as we are just a short drive away from Carlisle city centre, we have the best of both urban and rural living.”
