Step by step guide to Story Homes part exchange scheme.

  1. Decide on the Story Home you wish to purchase and determine if part exchange is available on this property.
  2. Inform the Sales Executive of an approximate value and location of your home. This information is necessary at this point so that your Sales Executive can calculate whether you meet the criteria for Part Exchange, for example a 30% differential between your current property and the property you wish to purchase. We also need to know the location of your property as we currently only consider part exchange properties in the regions that we are building. If your property qualifies, your information will be passed onto our Sales Manager.
  3. Our Sales Manager will then consider whether your property meets the criteria for our Part Exchange Scheme and will then instruct an independent valuation – your cooperation in giving access to the valuer will assist in the speed of our offer.
  4. Based on the valuer’s advice of achieving a realistic sale in a six week period, we will make you an offer. Any offer made is subject to a homebuyer’s survey and acceptable searches.
  5. If you are happy with our offer, you can then proceed to reserving your new Story Home, safe in the knowledge that both your sale and purchase are secure.
  6. Your Sales Executive will guide you through the buying process and we will take over the responsibility for marketing your property, all we ask is that you allow viewings at times convenient to you.
  7. Sit back, relax and wait for your new home to be ready.
