Pupils at St Oswald’s Catholic Primary School in Coppull recently enjoyed an engaging visit from the Story Homes team at nearby Elmbrook Park.
Led by Story Homes Assistant Site Manager Darren Lister, the session focused on helping Year 1/2 children understand the dangers of construction sites and the importance of staying safe.
The children learned about the different roles in housebuilding and got hands-on with safety-themed activities. The session ended with a special visit from Builder Bear, our lovable mascot, who brought big smiles, waves, and high-fives for everyone!
Each child also received a goody bag with a safety activity book and crayons to take home, helping to reinforce the key messages.
As part of our visit, we launched a design competition for the school’s Year 5/6 pupils. Their brief? Create a fun and imaginative children’s bedroom for our upcoming Harrison show home, inspired by bees, nature, and the outdoors.
The winning design will be brought to life this summer, giving one lucky class the chance to see their ideas transformed into a real-life space within the Elmbrook Park development.
