Royal Oak landlords Janice and Kyle MacRae from Appleby are staying close to their pub business by buying their dream house at Story Home’s Orchard Place development in the village.
Janice and Kyle have been running the Royal Oak for the past ten years. When they heard about the Story Homes development being built they couldn’t wait to take a look around and secure their own place. Janice said: “We know people that have bought from Story Homes in the past and how satisfied they’ve been so were keen to get one for ourselves.
