Cairns Chase community is starting to take strides as the first occupants have now moved into their brand new home on the Stainburn development.
Robert and Laura Wareing, along with their two children James (4) and Jackson (2), moved into the Story Homes development last month. Robert works at Sellafield and wife Laura owns the ‘Little Stars’ children’s nursery in Harrington.

Speaking about the move Laura said: “We had previously been living in Workington and were keen to relocate as we needed a bigger house for the family.
“I saw Cairns Chase on the Story Homes website and was instantly interested. We then went and had a look around different show homes at other Story Homes developments. The ‘Warwick’ house was one which really stood out to us.”
The Warwick is a fantastic four-bedroom detached house and Laura continued to say: “Once we saw the Warwick was available at Cairns Chase we knew it was the house for us. We loved the big light entrance that greets you when you walk in; it’s really welcoming. It was also a perfect sized house and was just what we were looking for.”
When talking about owning her new home Laura said: “This is the first new-build home we have owned and it’s been really exciting. I just love how everything is new and clean in the house. As for the home itself the rooms are really large and we can’t believe how big it is; it’s so spacious. It’s just what we’ve been looking for and more!”
Cairns Chase is going to have 150 new homes and Laura is already excited about how the community is developing saying: “It’s been really peaceful so far and our neighbours are great. Everybody’s really friendly and the development is very safe. It’s fantastic for the kids to play out and they are always out on their bikes! I think Cairns Chase is a very family friendly estate. Story Homes have been really good too and we have been so pleased with everything so far.”
