A Lancashire football club has thanked Story Homes for providing their junior teams with new training kits, so they can step out in style this season.
When our Brookwood Park development in Kirkham opened, they were approached by Kirkham Junior FC to sponsor the Under 13s team.
Peter Woods, secretary for Kirkham Junior FC praised the firm’s sponsorship and said its support has allowed youngsters in the area to access football.
Story Homes is the main sponsor of the Under 13s blue team and their strip now proudly bears the our name and logo. We have also provided funding for more than 80 new red training kits for other squads across the club from Under 9s to Under 15s.
Secretary of Kirkham Junior FC Peter Jones, said: “When Story Homes started their new development at Brookwood Park in Kirkham, I approached them to sponsor one of our teams. They stepped up immediately and were keen to support the local community and understood the work that Kirkham Junior FC does with the youngsters in Kirkham and the surrounding area.
“At first they chose to sponsor our Under 13 Blues team and then proposed to support the rest of the juniors 80 strong squad with their training kits from our Under 9s to Under 15s.
“The new Joma kits are blazoned with the Story logo. We’re about to start the season and the players look really smart. To see them all at training in their kits makes me so proud and more than grateful to Story Homes for their support.”
