Help to Buy and mortgage advice event at Summerpark, Dumfries
On Saturday 27 April, we are delighted to be sharing mortgage advice plus helpful information about our popular Help to Buy scheme at our Summerpark marketing suite in Dumfries.
From 10.30am – 4.30pm our knowledgeable Sales Executives, along with representatives from The Cumberland building society, will be on hand to provide expert mortgage advice to those thinking about buying a new build home, whilst also discussing mortgage rates, offers and the Help to Buy scheme.
The Cumberland works alongside Story Homes to ensure your mortgage is progressed as smoothly as possible. With so many choices and options for mortgages, it’s important to know exactly what would suit you best, and The Cumberland is here to help.
Our Help to Buy scheme allows buyers to reserve a home with a deposit starting from just 5% of the total purchase price. The government will lend the buyer up to 20% of the value of the new home via an equity loan, so they will only need a 75% mortgage. The equity loan is interest-free for five years and it can be paid back at any time or upon the sale of the home.
Hayley Blair, Head of Sales at Story Homes, said: “Our Help to Buy and mortgage advice event will be a fantastic opportunity for people to come along and speak to experts in new home mortgages, as well as our Sales Executives who can share information out about the incentives we have available on selected homes.
“We work closely with The Cumberland to ensure a smooth house-buying journey for our customers and it’s great that they are going to be at the mortgage advice event so that potential customers can find out all the information they’ll need in one place.”
Summerpark is a beautiful development of three and four-bedroom homes, and is ideally located in the market town of Dumfries. For more information, click here.
