Wigton play area opens with Story Homes support

March 2014

A newly opened play area in Wigton has been supported by Story Homes.

The children play park opposite Kirklands Garden in the town was made possible thanks to a 70% donation towards the cost of the community facility from Story Homes.

Story Homes donated the money to the Town Council to enable them to provide the new facility for the local community in Wigton.

Fred Story, Chairman of Story Homes said: “Where possible, we aim to support the communities we are working within, particularly if there is a wider benefit to the wellbeing of families. The park in Wigton is a great facility for the community and we are pleased that we have been able to support its development.”
