We will be opening the doors our two eagerly anticipated show homes at Paddocks View in Middleton St George this Saturday 15 April.
The four-bedroom detached Taunton show home will be the first to showcase the house type in the North East. One of Story Homes’ most popular house types, the property offers 1,600 sq ft of living space with an integral single garage.
The Boston is a four-bedroom detached show home with an integral garage and impressive bay windows in the lounge and master bedroom.
Both have been designed and decorated by Story Homes’ interior stylist Suzanne Webster, who also counts Barker and Stonehouse and Harpers Bazaar amongst her clients.
She said: “Show homes are very important – especially for a housebuilder like Story Homes which is not just selling a house, it’s selling a home and lifestyle. My job is important to help customers realise the potential of the space and imagine their families living there.
“For the Taunton show home, we have used a largely neutral colour base which I’ve accentuated with deep charcoal and aubergine to add a classic sophistication.
“In the Boston house type, we have introduced more colour. Inspired by designer Matthew Williamson we have used a lime and teal colour palette, which sounds like it would clash but mixed right it looks fantastic. For furniture, I’ve sourced a lot of white, chrome, mirror and glass pieces and incorporated the colour elements with furniture, curtains, art and soft furnishings. I can’t wait to hear the feedback from visitors this weekend.”
Visitors will be able to view enjoy champagne and canapés whilst viewing the show homes and have the opportunity to speak to our knowledgeable sales executives about the range of house types available.
The collection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes offer up to 1,905 sq ft of living space and will be finished to Story Homes’ Prestige specification as standard.
In most of the houses, this includes bi-fold doors, a double oven, five-burner gas hob, integrated microwave and dishwasher in the kitchen, as well as double-ended baths, overhead showers and extensive tiling in the bathrooms and en-suites.
Each home also comes with a fully turfed front and rear garden and block paved driveway as standard.
The first families will be moving into the development this spring.
Sales executive at Paddocks View, Sue Walton, said: “Story Homes is renowned for its attractive and unique street scenes, bringing a completely different style of new build home to the area. The development is situated in an enviable location surrounded by beautiful countryside but with Darlington and Yarm just 12 minutes away by car.”
