What led you to start looking for a new home?

We were both ready to move out of our family homes and take our first step onto the property ladder. Buying our first home together felt like the natural next step, and we were excited to find somewhere we could truly make our own.

What attracted you to Scotby Grove and your Mayford home in particular?

We had always wanted to live on this side of town and were particularly drawn to Scotby, as it’s close to where we both grew up.

We were looking for a high-quality, modern and well-designed three-bedroom home, and the Mayford was exactly what we wanted. The open plan layout and generous room sizes are perfect for our lifestyle.

The whole process was a great experience from start to finish. Watching our first home being built from the ground up was really special.

Amanda, our Sales Executive, was fantastic throughout. She was incredibly helpful, always approachable and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

How did you find the moving-in experience, and how have you settled into your new home so far?

Moving house can be stressful, but Story Homes made it much easier with a thorough home demonstration and by always being available to answer any questions we had. We are settling in really well and are enjoying making the house our own.

What are your favourite features of your new home?

Definitely the open plan kitchen, dining and living area. It’s the perfect space for spending time together and hosting family and friends.

How are you finding the location and the community at Scotby Grove?

We love the location. It has excellent transport links for commuting to work while still being just a short distance from the city centre. It’s exactly where we wanted to be.
