We are pleased to share we’ve donated £500 to Tanfield Lea Primary School in County Durham, enabling the school to purchase new outdoor play equipment for pupils to enjoy.
This donation forms part of our ongoing commitment to supporting local communities around our developments. The school is located just a short distance from our Heritage Fields development, where the second phase of homes has recently launched, and the new equipment will help to enhance playtime for children, encouraging outdoor activity and social interaction.
Kye Bradley, Sales Director for Story Homes North East, said:
“We’re really pleased to support Tanfield Lea Primary School with this donation. Encouraging children to be active and enjoy the outdoors is so important for their wellbeing, and we hope the new play equipment will bring plenty of smiles and fun to pupils for years to come. It’s great to be able to give something back to the Tanfield community as part of our ongoing investment in the areas where we build.”
Mark Temple, Headteacher at Tanfield Lea Primary School, added:
“We are very grateful to Story Homes for their generous donation. The new play equipment has already made a big difference to our outdoor space and is being enjoyed daily by our pupils. It’s fantastic to have the support of a local company that takes such an active interest in our community.”
