We’re excited to mark a major milestone at our Woodbridge Green development in Lea, Preston – the official start of construction and the successful completion of the site’s legal acquisition.
This important step forward was celebrated with a ceremonial ‘spade in the ground’ moment, captured alongside members of our production team.
Woodbridge Green will deliver 161 high-quality new homes, including a range of affordable options designed to meet the needs of the local community. This development reflects our ongoing commitment to building sustainable, well-designed neighbourhoods that people are proud to call home.
As part of the scheme, circa 8 acres of land will be transferred to Lancashire County Council for the construction of a new railway station known as Cottam Park Way. In addition, the scheme will generate over £3.5 million in Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)* across the detailed and outline phases.
We’re incredibly proud to see Woodbridge Green moving forward and look forward to sharing more updates as we bring this exciting new development to life.
*Community Infrastructure Levy is a charge which can be levied by local authorities on new development in their area.
