We opened two show homes at our new development in Crawcrook last weekend, which included the first ‘Grantham’ show home across any of our North East developments.
The 169-home development, Fairfields Manor, features a range of three, four and five-bedroom family homes, and is based off the A695 with easy access to Newcastle and Gateshead.
The four-bedroom detached ‘Grantham’ show home, which has been styled by our interior designer Suzanne Webster, displays the features that come as standard in our homes. These include bi-fold doors leading onto turfed gardens, superior kitchens with AEG integrated appliances, and contemporary bathrooms with tiling by Porcelanosa.
One of the attendees at the opening event was Pauline Hardy, who was the first buyer to reserve a ‘Grantham’ at Fairfields Manor but had not previously been inside a show home of this house type. Mrs Hardy, who is set to move into her new home in April with her husband, brought her daughter and grandchildren, Alice and Charlie, along to look around.
She commented: “It is great to be able to see the ‘Grantham’ in person – I am pleasantly surprised at how spacious it is, especially the living room. My husband and I are downsizing from our home in Whitley Bay and moving closer to family, but we still wanted a property that had enough space for our grandchildren to have their own rooms when they come to stay. We think the high specification of Story Homes is fantastic and now that we’ve seen the show home, we are really looking forward to moving in.”
The second show home at Fairfields Manor is the four-bedroom ‘Warwick’ – one of our most popular house types.
