Celebrating securing their dream home

First time buyers, Callum and Kayleigh want to stay living close to their friends and family so when they heard about Edgehill Park they couldn’t wait to put their deposit down! The excited couple went along to the exclusive launch event at Whitehaven Golf Club last month and having spoken to Sales Executive Dawn O’Fee, were quick to reserve one of the ‘Kingston’ house types from the Story Homes range. This three bedroom semi-detatched house offers a fully integrated kitchen and dining area, spacious lounge and three good sized bedrooms including an en-suite!

Keen to get a place of their own and move out of their parent’s houses Callum and Kayleigh have taken advantage of the Help to Buy Scheme as otherwise this dream home would have been out of their reach.

Callum said: “Kayleigh and I have been saving up to buy a house together for a few years now and thanks to the Help to Buy scheme, this has made it all possible for us. We know people that have bought a house with Story Homes before and how pleased they’ve been with the standard and quality so when we heard about this new site, we knew we wouldn’t be disappointed.”

Kayleigh added: “We both work in the area and all our friends and family live nearby too so this location is ideal. They are all looking forward to us moving in over the summer and coming round for a house warming party! I can’t wait to get moved in and choose all our furniture together and make the house our own. We’re both so excited!”

With just a 5% deposit and a 20% government grant, buying a dream home like this can easily become a reality using the Help to Buy scheme at Edgehill Park.

With 13 different house types, ranging from apartments, terraced, townhouses, semi-detatched and detatched houses, all of which are designed and built to a high specification, there will be something for everyone at Edgehill Park.
