What made you choose the Heritage Fields development? What do you like most about the location?

I loved that it’s semi-rural – the area is lovely and quiet – but I’m still close to family, which is really important to me.

Which house type did you choose and why?

The Pearson. It was the perfect size for my needs, and I loved the floor plan with the big kitchen/diner. The master bedroom was also a real selling point for me.

What do you love most about your house type?

So much! The full-length window in the kitchen lets in so much light, and the island makes it feel really spacious. I love having a utility room and a separate shower in the main bathroom. All the bedrooms are generous too – none of them feel like tiny box rooms.

Which room do you spend the most time in?

The living room. I love the size and shape – it’s spacious yet still really cosy.

Did you consider a second-hand property? If yes, why did you choose new?

No, I prefer new builds, so I didn’t even look at second-hand homes.

What do you like most about living in a new build?

Everything is brand new! I could just move my furniture in without worrying about any surprises. I also love that it gives a blank canvas to visualise how I want everything to look – it makes decorating so much fun.

How was your experience with the Story Homes team throughout the buying process?

Amazing! I’ve had a new build from another developer before, and the difference is night and day. Story have been fantastic from start to finish, and even after moving in they checked in to make sure everything was okay and quickly sorted any snags. The team are so friendly and helpful – it’s been such an enjoyable process.

Did you consider other housebuilders? If yes, why did you choose Story Homes?

I’ve always wanted a Story home. The build quality, attention to detail, and home layouts made Story the obvious choice – I wouldn’t have considered any other developer.

Would you recommend, or have you already recommended Story Homes?

Absolutely! I’ve already recommended it to friends, and some are even buying on the same development as me – I’ve raved about it that much!
