We have bolstered our site management team at the Waters Edge development in Whitehaven, following a surge in demand for homes in the region.
We appointed assistant site manager, Angela Metcalfe, to support the team at Waters Edge to deliver an ambitious development programme. The site has seen an influx in sales over recent months, leaving over 82 per cent of properties sold.

Angela has clearly demonstrated her capability in delivering large and complex projects in the property sector and we’re really excited to have her on-board as our very first female assistant site manager.”
Angela brings a wealth of knowledge to the role with over 10 years’ experience in construction, having previously worked at Carlisle-based Senator Homes, Persimmon Homes and Lovell Partnerships, where her hard work was recognised with an NHBC Pride in the Job award.
Angela said: “Story Homes is renowned for delivering exceptional homes, and this stems from its meticulous site management processes and staff development programmes. These internal structures not only make it a fantastic place to work, but ensure that customers’ expectations are always exceeded.”
Waters Edge is located on High Road, boasting picturesque coastal views and excellent transport links to Whitehaven and Carlisle. The two, three and four-bedroom homes come in a choice of stylish house types with a traditional appearance, making them ideal for buyers at every end of the spectrum.

Story Homes is also building the Wilson Howe development in Whitehaven and has plans to launch other developments in Copeland.
