Story Homes held an exclusive launch of their new development, Pentland Reach in Biggar this week. Potential customers who had signed up the mailing list for the new homes were invited along to the event at the Shieldhill Castle Hotel in Biggar. Just one hour into the event and Story Homes had seen its first sale on the development.
Ian and Dorothy Patience from Biggar were so keen to buy their new Story Home that they ignored the snow to ensure that they could get the home of their dreams and were amongst the first potential customers through the door.
The retired couple are currently living in rented accommodation and are looking for a permanent home where they can enjoy family time together with their daughter, son-in-law and six-year old grandson.
Ian, 59, says: “We have been waiting a while for this development to launch. We visited the nearest Story Homes development, Summerpark in Dumfries, and we just knew we wanted to move to Pentland Reach.”
Dorothy, 57, was ‘really excited’ about securing their new home and is looking forward to moving in over the summer. As all properties come with landscaped gardens, we’re sure that this family will enjoy the warm weather when it comes.
The couple have chosen a ‘Dornoch‘ style house which is a stunning 4 bedroom detached property. Ian and Dorothy’s home is a traditional-build house with a low maintenance stone front which fits in with the local landscape well: something that Story Homes are extremely proud of on all their developments.
Pentland Reach is placed in the delightful market town of Biggar which has excellent transport links to Edinburgh, Glasgow and the south. Interest in the site has been widespread, with enquiries from all over the UK and as far afield as the States.
A further launch event for the development is being held from Thursday 29 January to Friday 30 January at the Shieldhill Castle Hotel, Biggar.
