Daily Mail UK Property Award Shaddon Mill 5-star: 2006

July 2009

Judges were impressed by the innovative design and layout of the apartment, which was part of the conversion of the former mill in the shadow of Dixon’s Chimney in Shaddongate.

Sales manager Louise McGuckin, who collected the award on behalf of the company, said: “We were delighted to receive this. It is an acknowledgement of all the hard work that has been put into the development. It is a fantastic achievement”

Among the judges of the award was property expert Phil Spencer, one of the presenters of Channel Four programme Location, Location, Location.

Mrs McGuckin said the accolade showed the progression that Story Homes is making.

Last year, the firm won a four-star award from the Daily Mail for its Parkland Village development on the outskirts of Carlisle.
