We are delighted with the decision by Eden District Council’s Development Panel to grant detailed planning permission for our proposals to build 110 new homes on land at Carleton Road, in Penrith. Our proposals will create a sustainable and integrated development that will make an important contribution to the district’s housing supply.
The proposed development would deliver a mix of dwellings, of which 30% are to be made available as affordable homes available for local people based on their eligibility, providing a much needed boost to the affordable market in Penrith.

In the design of our proposal, we have paid careful attention to the local area’s different forms of development, architecture, appearance, and material and these aspects will be visible when travelling around the development creating a unique sense of space.
The proposed development would deliver a mix of two, three, four and five bedroom detached, semi detached and terraced dwellings.
Our development will create new employment opportunities for local contractors, with knock on effects for local supply chains and other local businesses and services.
