Our North Tyneside development, Dove Park, is in the running for Residential Development of the Year at the Insider North East Property Awards.
The awards were launched last year to recognise the excellence of the property sector in the North East and to reward the very best property companies, developments and deals over the last 12 months.
In 2017, we won the Residential Development category for The Woodlands at Shotley Bridge and we hope to replicate this success at this year’s awards.
Dove Park, based on Rake Lane, was the first of our North East developments to be fully sold, with all 61 high specification homes purchased within just 18 months of its launch.
Ian Worgan, Managing Director for Story Homes in the North East, commented: “We are pleased to be in the running for this prestigious award and to be recognised for the high quality of our homes at Dove Park.
“Since first expanding into the North East in 2013 with The Woodlands, we now have a wide range of developments across Northumberland, North Tyneside, County Durham and Teesside, with several more coming soon. As we have grown, we have continued to focus on quality – from the design of the development and materials used to the internal and external specification – so it is great to see this being acknowledged.”
Philip Cunliffe, Insider’s regional business editor, said: “The North East property sector has continued to perform well over the last 12 months, while Newcastle was strongly represented at the recent MIPIM event in France. The awards build on that strength and we’re looking forward to highlighting and showcasing these quality firms and developments from across the region at the awards dinner next month.”
A team from our North East region will be attending the gala awards dinner on 3 May 2018 at the Gosforth Marriott Hotel.
