First sales at launch for Alders Edge, Scotby
The first homes at our new Scotby development sold in just minutes at the exclusive launch.
Andrew and Melanie Pearson bought their dream Story Home at Alders Edge, Scotby after coming along to the launch event at the Crown Hotel, Wetheral in November.
The couple had signed up to the mailing list and received an exclusive invitation to come along and view the site plans, house types, layouts and prices before the general public.
Andrew, 38, was first in the queue to buy plot 12, an Arundel. The four bedroom detached house proved popular as Andrew and wife Melanie, 39, just got there before another customer who was also interested in plot 12.
Andrew said: “We had heard about the new Story Homes development in Scotby through word of mouth really and when we got the email invitation to the event, we knew we would have to get here first as it would be a popular development.
“We currently live close to another Story Homes development and we love the look of the houses. Ours will be stone fronted which is exactly what we wanted. We have looked at other Story Homes developments to decide exactly what we wanted before we came here to buy at Scotby.”
Melanie added: “We already live near this end of town and we like it. It has good schools and it’s close to everything we need and I like the layout with the kitchen diner and a separate utility room. There is a lot of space for our family to grow.”
The couple, along with son Charlie, 2, and daughter Sadie, 5, will move into their new home in mid 2014.
