The children of Beckstone Primary School received a surprise visit by Builder Bear.

Story Homes has paid Cumbria County Council a contribution of £84,347 towards new or existing facilities at Beckstone Primary School in the village.

The payment takes into account the possibility of up to seven additional pupils attending the school from Story Homes’ new Whins Farm Close development.

Whins Farm Close has created 75 new homes in High Harrington. The development started in 2013 and is now almost complete.
