Levens show home launch attracts more than 100 visitors

February 2018

Visitors flocked to the opening of our latest show home at Greengate Meadow in Levens, with more than 100 customers coming through the doors.

The four-bedroom detached Taunton show home has been styled by interior designer, Suzanne Webster, and allows homebuyers to see the space, quality features and attention to detail that sets these homes apart. She has created the scheme for the show home using a classic combination of black and white. Monochrome is tipped to be the interior design trend for 2018 and Suzy has also added pops of colour throughout the house. This is a trend everyone can be inspired by and get on board with.

The design really showcases the high quality homes and highlights the premier specification which comes as standard including bi-fold/French doors leading onto patios and turfed gardens, Symphony kitchens with fully integrated A-rated appliances, bathroom fittings and sanitary ware by Crosswater and extensive tiling by Porcelanosa. The internal doors are American white oak which complements the contemporary staircase with oak newel posts, handrail and painted spindles.

As well as exploring the show home, for the first time our visitors can look around the three-bedroom detached dormer bungalow view home, and chat to its Sales team to find out more about the 49-home development, which includes a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom family homes.

Demand has been high for homes on this development, and it has now sold more than 60% of the release of homes.

Sales Manager Clare Wilson, said: “Greengate Meadow is a fantastic development in the poplar village of Levens. We expected our development to be in high demand due to the quality and finish of the properties and its location.

“The show homes really do demonstrate how you can live in a Story Home. Our visitors were impressed with the quality of our homes and were amazed with what comes as standard, from the high specification throughout the home and even including the fencing and turf in the gardens.

“We are delighted to see so many people coming to explore our show home during the opening weekend, despite the cold and wet weather. We’ve received excellent feedback about the Taunton’s design, layout and size. Customers travelled from across the North West to see this new design but also to view the Banbury bungalow, which is the first view home of its kind in the region.

“Our first family have moved in and we are looking forward to more residents moving in before Spring and seeing this community grow and become part of village life.”

Based off Greengate Crescent in the picturesque village of Levens, the development is well-placed for commuting to Kendal and South Cumbria as it is conveniently located close to the M6 motorway network.

First residents to move in David and Hannah, attended the launch event to view the show home to get inspiration and ideas as they have purchased a Taunton house type. David said: “The Taunton design is our dream family home. Having three young boys it offers us the perfect space with the large kitchen, dining and family room which covers the rear of the house and overlooks the garden.

“We’ve been renting locally, so it is good to view the show home to get ideas as we are still buying fittings and furniture for the home and to see how they have used the space in each room. The show home design is amazing and the quality of the home has exceeded our expectations.”

Another couple, who have put an early bird on their home were eager to attend the launch, said “We have been desperate to view the show home here at Greengate Meadow and it hasn’t disappointed us. It was wonderful to see firsthand the quality of build and the high specification that comes in the home. We are so excited to watch our home throughout the stages of build and are looking forward to moving in later in the year.”
