Sales Executive Dawn has recently joined the company after working in new build property sales for national house builders for more than 10 years. Dawn is located at our second development in Kirkham.
Heaton Green features a collection of three, four and five-bedroom semi-detached and detached homes in the beautiful market town of Kirkham. Dawn is currently located in the marketing suite at Heaton Green as we prepare to move in to our show homes in the coming weeks.
We caught up with Dawn to find out more about her role, our newly designed homes and why she loves working for Story Homes.
What does your role involve?
As a sales executive, I pride myself on being friendly, professional, flexible and efficient, providing a personal service which is second to none. I am the face of our Heaton Green development in Kirkham, meeting customers and introducing them to our new range of homes ‘The Story Collection’. I take every customer through the home buying process – managing their customer journey whilst delivering an exceptional service from beginning to end. I build a strong relationship with the site team and together we deliver and exceed our customers’ expectations.
Why did you decide upon this career path?
I have worked in sales for more than 10 years, and previously worked in the airline industry. I have a passion for what I sell and truly believe in the product. The aspirational and desirable quality Story Homes creates gave me just that. I researched the company and looked around some developments before I joined the company, this highlighted to me that they are a leader in the house building industry in terms of the developments they are producing with ambitious plans for growth.
What do you love about ‘The Story Collection’?
I am so proud to be working on the first site in the North West to launch ‘The Story Collection’.
Heaton Green features 15 new house types from the collection of 29 homes. All our house types have been reviewed, revamped and redesigned bringing the best features and elements in our homes from our existing range. The newly designed house types have also been named after members of our staff across the group – which is a special way to recognise our team in this family-owned business.
Not only are the exteriors designed to create the street scenes for which we are renowned, bringing individuality and character to each development but the interiors come with a premium specification as standard plus new features added in.
These exceptional homes offer the best in spacious and modern living. With open-plan living in mind and stylishly designed kitchens, dining and family areas that span that width of the property at the rear of the home. This room really is the heart of the home with light flooding in to these areas with bi-folding doors which lead out to the paved patio and turfed rear garden. In the majority of the homes, there’s also a beautifully designed contemporary kitchen featuring an island and ‘A’ rated integrated appliances – which all come as standard in a Story home.
Upstairs there are spacious bedrooms with space for fitted wardrobes. In each home, the master bedroom comes complete with an en-suite that includes a walk in shower. The main bathroom has white sanitaryware, a walk-in shower and a separate bath.
Externally each home has a block paved driveway at the front, and the back garden comes fully turfed with a paved patio area, fencing and an access gate.
As you can see with, the design and layout of these homes really do make them feel different to the rest.
What do you enjoy about your job?
I genuinely love meeting new people. My role is to help them through the buying process from how to secure their dream home to going through their choices which gives their home that personal touch. It’s the best feeling in the world handing over the keys to a home we are proud of and that our customers are excited to be moving in to. Our show homes are due to open in a couple of weeks and our first houses will be ready to move in to in Spring 2020.
