On 26 and 27 October, we are hosting an open house weekend at our canal-side development – Waterside in Cottam, Preston.

Join us, and four of our homeowners, from 12pm to 3pm, to take a look around Waterside and a range of homes from an apartment and a three-bedroom semi-detached home to three and four-bedroom three-storey townhouses.

Visitors are invited to come along to the event where they will be given a tour of our show homes and homes that are ready to move in to in spring 2020.

Our experienced Sales team will be on hand to provide information about buying a home at Waterside, including how you could part exchange to a Story home or take advantage of exclusive offers that are worth thousands.

Four of our homeowners, who moved in to their homes in the last 12-18 months, are opening their doors for potential customers to take a look around, get a feel for the layout of our homes and also meet the neighbours. Visitors will be able to view a two-bedroom apartment, three-bedroom semi-detached Hastings, three-bedroom three-storey Guildford and four-bedroom three-storey Hereford as well as our four-bedroom Wellington and Warwick show homes

Andrew Kidd lives in a three-bedroom three-storey Guildford townhouse. He is opening his doors to potential customers to allow them to view their home and see the benefits of living in a three-storey house.

Andrew said: “The Guildford is the perfect space for us. It’s open plan layout with a family room, kitchen and dining room spanning the whole of the ground floor, with French doors which open out to the back garden which has a paved patio, turfed garden and fencing. It really is a great entertaining space and somewhere the whole family can enjoy. I can be in the kitchen area cooking whilst my partner David is relaxing on the sofa or sitting in the dining area looking out to the garden.”

On the first floor, there is a spacious lounge, the third bedroom and family bathroom. Upstairs on the second floor, there are two double bedrooms, with the master bedroom having an en-suite with walk-in shower.

Andrew continued: “I’ve lived in a number of new build homes but this one completely outweighs them all. There is so much space in this home with the layout being over three floors. I’m really looking forward to opening the door to our home and welcoming potential neighbours in for a walk around and chat.”
