Who will live in your new home?

I’ll be living in the house with my wife and our two daughters. I work as a Business Analyst within the Civil Service, and my wife works as a Healthcare Assistant.

When did you first start looking for a new home?

We started looking for a new home around November 2025.

What made you consider a new build rather than a second-hand property?

For us, choosing a new build was about creating a home that truly meets our family’s needs. We wanted a fresh start in a space designed for modern living, and a home we could feel proud of. It was also important to us to show our children that it’s possible to aim high, work towards your goals, and create the best possible future.

How did you first hear about Story Homes and the Woodbridge Green development?

I already live locally and have previous experience of living in a Story home, so I was familiar with the quality and design. When I discovered the Woodbridge Green development, I registered my interest and booked a visit.

Which house type did you choose and why?

We chose the Dawson, as it suited both our budget and our lifestyle. Although we didn’t visit a show home, we spent a lot of time researching the layout online and reviewing the floorplans and brochures. We really liked the design, particularly the kitchen and living space, and felt confident in our decision based on our trust in Story Homes’ build quality.

Did you consider other housebuilders?

We did look at other options, but the overall design and quality of Story Homes stood out. The support from the sales team and our confidence in the Dawson house type helped confirm that this was the right choice for us.

How did you find the reservation process?

The reservation process was straightforward, and we appreciated the patience of the sales team in taking the time to explain everything clearly and make sure we understood each step.

Is there anything you’re particularly looking forward to in your new home?

We’re especially excited about the main bedroom on the top floor, which feels like a real retreat. As the build progresses, we’re looking forward to seeing the home take shape.

When do you expect to move in?

We’re expecting to move in around winter 2026.

Yes, we would recommend Story Homes and have already told friends about our experience, some of whom have registered their interest. The support we’ve received and the help available to us made a real difference in our journey.
