Location location location

Grimsargh is a highly sought after village nestled in the Ribble Valley, perfectly situated between Preston and Longridge, ideal for commuters, couples and families alike. Although a peaceful and semi-rural location, the village has excellent transport links and is within easy reach of the M6 and M55, giving residents the best of both worlds.

Grimsargh boasts an idyllic countryside setting with local amentities including an outstanding Primary School, two traditional pubs, a pizzeria, church and cricket club which are within walking distance of Elston Park.

It is an ideal choice for those already living in the popular and ever-growing town of Longridge who may now be looking to escape to a more quaint location, but with all the benefits of Longridge nearby. Longridge is less than a 10 minute drive away and amenities include a supermarket, cinema, library, independent retailers, restaurants, pubs and social clubs.

What is there to do?

There are many picturesque walks to enjoy, including Grimsargh Wetlands which spans nearly 30 acres and is a haven for local wildlife including curlew and wading birds. Or you can explore Tun Brook Wood, a historic stretch of woodland that runs right down to the River Ribble and is home to a wide range of animals including deer and badger.

Fancy a bite to eat or a quick tipple? The Plough Inn, located in the heart of the village, is a traditional pub providing tasty dishes crafted with locally sourced ingredients, and has a variety of real ales on offer. Locals and tourists flock to the pub throughout the year, bringing a real buzz to the place.

Did you know, Grimsargh has the largest village green in Lancashire – the perfect spot for a picnic! This extensive community space consists of a fabulous children’s play area, football pitch, wildlife garden and a pond.

The village also hosts an annual field day bringing the community together for a day of fun, games, live music, market stalls, competitions and more. What’s not to love!
