The Sanderson is beautiful 4-bedroom home with spacious, open plan rooms. It has a striking exterior and an integrated garage – great for a home gym if you don’t need to use this space for a car! We have two Sanderson show homes, one at Edgehill Park in Whitehaven, and the other at Priory View in Finchale.
Why we love it
This home has one of our favourite rooms – the kitchen/dining/family area. This versatile living space is perfect for entertaining guests and hosting the whole family. Imagine, Christmas Day – Mum’s cooking the dinner in the kitchen while Dad is setting the table, and the kids are playing with their new presents in the living area – it lends itself so well to family life, there’s room for everyone.
Styling tips
The Sanderson show home at Edgehill Park uses earth tones – colours that are rooted in nature – creating a soothing feeling, with shades of burnt orange to create a cosy look and feel. For us, we love the simplicity of this trend and the warmth it can add. In the lounge, the use of a sandy toned feature wall with orange accessories works so well and brings the room to life.
This works well in the kitchen/dining/family area too, which has feature wallpaper in the living area. We love the use of the corner sofa in this space, neatly tucked away creating distinct areas for relaxing and dining.
One of our favourite features is the kitchen island, it’s a great focal point that offers more storage too! We also love that there’s a utility room where you can hide your washing machine, freeing up more space in the kitchen area.
The children’s bedrooms in this show home are simply beautiful. We love the whale mural in the boy’s bedroom, not to mention the princess bed in the girl’s bedroom – both small features that make a big difference, little ones will love spending time in these spaces.
In the master bedroom the use of built-in wardrobes works really well; the mirrored doors make this room feel even bigger, and the dressing table at the end of the bed is a nice touch. The earth tones make this room the perfect place to unwind at the end of a long day, with luxurious fabrics that add an elegant feel.
