We were delighted to recently provide an important financial contribution to Egglescliffe Community Centre.
The £500 donation from our North East division has been used towards the installation of new automatic doors at the centre, improving access for wheelchair users and other visitors with disabilities.
Egglescliffe Community Centre is a small facility serving the needs of local residents. The centre provides opportunities for people of all ages to participate in a wide range of programmes that educate, improve self-confidence, and promote mental and physical health.
To celebrate the donation, representatives from our Sadler Woods Site and Sales teams went along to the community centre from the business presented a donation cheque to the centre’s Grant Funding Secretary, John Atkinson, and Chairman, Raymond Paris.
We are currently developing 253 new homes in the area at our Sadler Woods development in Eaglescliffe, which will deliver a range of three to five-bedroom high quality new homes designed for modern living. The donation towards the community centre proposed a great opportunity to further support the local community in the area, which hopefully both the residents of Sadler Woods and the wider community will benefit from.
