We are proud to sponsor the Ladies team at Backworth Cricket Club, becoming the team’s official front-of-shirt sponsor for the upcoming season.
This sponsorship reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots sport and investing in the communities where we build. Backworth Cricket Club is located close to our upcoming Killingworth Gate development, which recently secured planning approval for its first phase – paving the way for 169 high-quality homes designed for local families and first-time buyers.
We have a strong connection to the area, having previously delivered our Brierdene development in Backworth. This latest sponsorship further strengthens our presence in the community, building on relationships established through our previous projects.
By sponsoring the Ladies team, we are supporting the growth of women’s cricket locally, while deepening our connection with the Backworth community. The new shirts proudly feature our logo on the front, giving the team a smart, professional look as they head into the new season. This partnership also builds on our wider support for women’s sport, following our recent sponsorship of the Whitley Bay Lionesses football team, based near our Robinson Fields development in North Tyneside, which is now 95% sold.
