Proposal

We are working in partnership with Taylor Wimpey to bring forward proposals for a new residential development at Hazelhurst Farm, Worsley. Together, we have secured the land from Peel Land Group and are preparing a planning application that will be submitted to Salford City Council in the coming weeks.

Our joint proposals will deliver 330 high-quality new homes, of which we will build 155 and Taylor Wimpey will deliver 175. The development will offer a mix of one to six-bedroom homes, designed to meet the needs of modern families at all stages of life.

As part of the scheme, we are committed to providing 50% affordable housing, with 20% delivered on site at Hazelhurst Farm and the remainder delivered through an off-site affordable housing contribution.

Our proposals will:
Deliver a mix of on-site and off-site affordable housing, helping to meet local housing need and support people with a connection to the area.
Support the local economy by creating construction jobs and offering opportunities for local subcontractors, suppliers, and businesses.
Provide around five hectares of new open space, landscaping, and green infrastructure for the enjoyment of both existing residents and new families.
Include essential highways and infrastructure improvements to enhance connectivity, alongside a Travel Plan promoting sustainable transport and reducing reliance on private vehicles.
Incorporate sustainability measures across the development, including energy-efficient building fabric, low-energy lighting, electric vehicle charging points, and biodiversity enhancements.
Contribute over £15.3 million towards local services and facilities, including education, sport, highways, allotments, and other community infrastructure.
