We have boosted our senior team in the North West with the appointment of our second sales manager Richard Kitson to head up the sales team across the region, alongside sales manager Clare Wilson. He brings almost 10 years of sales experience to the role and will co-manage a team of nine advisors.
Richard, who joined the Lancashire team last month, said: “Securing leads and closing sales is my passion and I’ve been able to hone my skills over the past decade, learning from others to devise strategies that work for both me and my team.
“I was drawn to Story Homes’ portfolio of developments that are not only beautifully built, but also have five-star builder status. I’m extremely proud to be part of a company that is constantly evolving and building on its exceptional reputation.
“While I’m determined to make Story a place where I can further my career, I’m also excited to help take the business to the next level.”
As part of his new role, Richard will manage schemes across the North West, including sites at Pendleton Grange in Clitheroe, Brookwood Park in Kirkham and The Pastures in Hambleton. He will also be opening his first development Willows Edge in Wrea Green early in 2017.
His appointment comes as Story Homes looks forward to its 30th anniversary next year and puts plans in place for continued expansion. Richard and Clare will play a pivotal role in delivering more than 230 homes within this financial year, with a further 400 homes in the pipeline across the region during 2017/18.
Louise McGuckin, sales director at Story Homes, said: “We’re committed to building houses of the finest quality and making sure potential buyers have access to as much information as possible before committing to a purchase.
“Having a clear, well thought-out sales strategy is essential to maintaining momentum and Richard’s experience lends itself perfectly to this.
“As we approach such a landmark anniversary next year, we want to make sure that we have a team that’s fully equipped with the appropriate leadership to help take Story Homes into its next chapter.”
