Garden styling tips from Show Business Interiors

April 2022

We partnered with Show Business Interiors who styled The Milford to highlight how our flexible and spacious homes seamlessly flow into the garden, allowing you to create beautiful outdoor living spaces. With French or bi-fold doors that bring the outside in, and gardens with a paved patio area, turf and fencing, our homes offer the perfect entertaining space to host friends and family.

We caught up with Debbie from Show Business Interiors who shared some top tips for styling your garden and furniture, getting your home ready for the warmer months ahead.

1. Bring the inside out! Soften your garden furniture with lots of blankets, cushions and warm tones.

2. Add an outdoor rug under your furniture, arrange colourful cushions and have a cosy throw handy for later.

3. Potting some of your favourite herbs is always a good idea, fairly hardy plants, that not only look good but also come in handy for cooking and cocktails.

4. As the afternoon turns to dusk, use candle lit lanterns to set the mood and drape some fairy lights for extra romance!
