An established face from the house building industry predicts exciting times ahead for Story Homes as it grows across Lancashire and the North West.
Tim Farnworth, who has been with the North West team for six months has recently been promoted to Head of Commercial, says he joined a business which is focused on delivering high quality homes, customer service and growth.
Tim says: “Story Homes is a family-run firm that has gone through incredible growth and transformation over the past year or so expanding in to the North West and opening a new regional office in Chorley. As we continue to expand, part of my role will be to ensure our developments and future growth is controlled and managed.”
He will lead a team of seven who will be involved in everything from advising on the initial viability of potential sites, to procurement of high quality subcontractors and suppliers to develop the site. They will also monitor and control the performance of the developments through the entire life cycle.
“One of my key aims is to help establish a highly successful department in the North West regional business. I am building a team of motivated individuals who are focused on delivering a quality product and in doing so raise the profile of the brand in the North West,” says Tim.
“Story Homes has established itself as a very strong brand over recent years and I am pleased to be a part of the new chapter in an already successful business. The homes built are really something to be proud of, they are a very high quality product and provide aspirational living accommodation and environments.”
“Building new homes is the foundation of the business and we have an ethos of doing things right. We’re going in to new areas and it’s a very competitive market out there, these are exciting times for Story Homes,” added 37 year-old Tim.
A quantity surveyor by trade, he has a strong commercial management background with a management degree from UCLAN.
