We’ve launched the ‘Taunton’ show home at our first development in the Ribble Valley, Pendleton Grange – Clitheroe, which is located in a much sought after area.
The Taunton is a large 4-bedroom detached home with integral garage, one of our most sought after house types.
Months of behind the scene planning goes in to designing a show home. The Lancashire sales team heavily influenced the design choosing a dramatic colour palette with renowned Interior Designer Suzanne Webster. The difference is in the detail, and it makes this show home stand out from the rest – the luxurious purple, grey and black scheme is brought to life in this spacious home.
The light and airy hallway leads to a double aspect lounge/dining room which runs the full depth of the house. The lounge features an attractive bay window and French doors from the dining room leads out to the patio and rear turfed garden … perfect for entertaining and bringing the outdoors in.

Once I have a colour palette in mind I take inspiration from things I see everyday as I travel around the country. Pinterest is also a great source of inspiration and I do buy a lot of my key pieces online.
“Once we have agreed a colour palette, I start each design with the wallpaper for each room and then build up with fabrics and key pieces of furniture. I keep my key pieces of furniture in neutral colours and then add splashes of autumnal colour through accessories, fabrics and wallpapers.”
