We’ve launched the ‘Taunton’ show home at our first development in the Ribble Valley, Pendleton Grange – Clitheroe, which is located in a much sought after area.
The Taunton is a large 4-bedroom detached home with integral garage, one of our most sought after house types.
Months of behind the scene planning goes in to designing a show home. The Lancashire sales team heavily influenced the design choosing a dramatic colour palette with renowned Interior Designer Suzanne Webster. The difference is in the detail, and it makes this show home stand out from the rest – the luxurious purple, grey and black scheme is brought to life in this spacious home.
The light and airy hallway leads to a double aspect lounge/dining room which runs the full depth of the house. The lounge features an attractive bay window and French doors from the dining room leads out to the patio and rear turfed garden … perfect for entertaining and bringing the outdoors in.
The high specification kitchen with integrated ‘A’ rated appliances is spacious and also features French doors from the breakfast area, which allows plenty of space for dining.
Luxury master bedroom
Taking a tour upstairs, there are four bedrooms, including a master bedroom with generous sized en-suite shower room and lovely dormer window, and a main family bathroom with bath and separate shower.
Clare Wilson, sales manager at Story Homes, said: “Pendleton Grange is a fantastic development situated on the edge of Clitheroe town centre. It’s located near to a wealth of local amenities and a thriving community spirit.
“We’re so pleased that our new show home allows our customers to see the build quality and high specification finish that we are recognised for. We’ve designed this house to stand out from the rest, with a contemporary and modern twist. I really wanted to bring some new colours in to our show homes and this luxurious purple and black colour palette definitely hits the spot.
“We are known for producing high quality high specification homes and I’m delighted to bring these to buyers in Clitheroe, who are looking for a property that offers a lifestyle rather than just a place to live.”
Interior Designer, Suzanne Webster, said: “I love working with Story Homes. Their houses provide a perfect stage for me to create a design for each show home and it was great to work with such a strong, dramatic and vibrant colour to showcase Story Homes in Clitheroe.”
“Each house is unique and has individual features, so it is great to put a design together to turn a house in to a Show Home. Months of planning goes into the design process. Once I have a colour palette in mind I take inspiration from things I see everyday as I travel around the country. Pinterest is also a great source of inspiration and I do buy a lot of my key pieces online.
“Once we have agreed a colour palette, I start each design with the wallpaper for each room and then build up with fabrics and key pieces of furniture. I keep my key pieces of furniture in neutral colours and then add splashes of autumnal colour through accessories, fabrics and wallpapers.”
Pendleton Grange features 13 house types offering up to 1,592 sq ft of living space which has been designed by Story Homes’ architectural design team. A range of 2, 3 and 4-bedroom homes are beautifully finished in a mix of stone, brick and render to give each home its individual personality. Located on the edge of the town centre, the development is located near to a thriving community spirit and a wealth of local amenities.
Inside, the homes will be finished to Story Homes’ renowned high specification which includes a five-burner gas hob, double oven, extensive Porcelanosa tiling in the bathroom and en-suite, turfed gardens to front and back, and large block paved driveways. (Available on selected homes)
