A Freckleton couple has become the first to sign up for a home at our Brookwood Park development in Kirkham.
Retired couple Karen and Trevor Hope are planning their move into Plot 7 – a four-bedroomed home at the development after being impressed by the quality of the Story Homes package.
“When we took a look around we were impressed by the build quality of the homes and the fact that everything like the fitted kitchen, fitted utility room and landscaped garden is included in the price says Karen.”
“It’s also a relatively modest development, in terms of scale, and we really like the fact that the plot backs onto the local grammar school playing fields so we won’t be overlooked.”
Brookwood Park, which is accessed off Blackpool Road, offers a mix of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom properties all finished to a high specification.
Adds Karen: “The location is ideal – we have a well established social network and so didn’t want to say goodbye to our friends in the area. But although we are only moving 10 minutes up the road, we’ll be within walking distance to the shops and other amenities in Kirkham.”

“We’re absolutely delighted to have completed the first sale and hope Karen and Trevor will be very happy here,” said Sales Manager Hayley Blair. “We already have a number of other sales in the pipeline.”
The marketing suite on the site at Kirkham is now open between 10.30am and 4.30pm, Thursday to Monday, and two show homes are also available to view.
Story Homes was awarded a UK Property Award in 2014 for its High Wood development in Lancaster. The development, on the site of the former Lancaster Moor Hospital, was recognised within the industry as one of the country’s top housing development sites.
