A junior football team has kicked off the season in style in some brand new football kits sponsored by our Waterside development in Cottam, Preston.
Ribbleton FC Under 7s, based at Ribbleton Park in Preston, recently purchased the kits thanks to our donation.
Ribbleton FC is a Lancashire FA affiliated Charter Standard club and it aims is to recruit players of all abilities and provide an environment where they can develop football skills, social skills and most importantly enjoy their football.
The club has teams from the ages of seven to 18 and all the players are from within the local community. For the 2016/2017 season, we have sponsored the ‘under 7s’ team.
Managing Director of Story Homes North West, David O’Reilly said: “We are proud to sponsor Ribbleton FC Under 7s for their new season. The club is a very important part of the local community, providing training, entertainment and experience for the team members, coaches and volunteers.
“We are proud of our track record in supporting clubs like this and our role in building sustainable communities.
“The donation will ensure that members of the team are looking their best in the brand new kits and are ready to score plenty of goals!”

Without their sponsorship the players would not benefit from feeling part of a united team as they do now all the players look fantastic and very professional in their new kit.”

Waterside is a development of two, three, four and five-bedroom family homes, located in Cottam, Preston. It includes a superb mix of townhouses, semi-detached and detached houses, providing perfect family homes to suit everyone.
Waterside located on Cottam Way, Cottam, Preston, PR4 0WL, is open Thursday to Monday from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
