NHBC Pride in the Job Award: 2006 and 2007

July 2009

David, who is a Cumbrian, born and bred, has been overseeing the new build of Tudor Court which comprises of 19, two bedroom apartments, arranged over three floors. The development stands on the site of the former Tudor Warehouse and from which it now takes its new name. David has continued his excellent management of this new site, a fact borne out by him being short-listed for such a prestigious award for a third time.

David commented “I think the key to producing quality work is to employ people with a positive attitude; part of my role is to create the best working conditions to allow each person to produce a high standard of work. The NHBC award for the Tudor Court site team is well deserved, and it will give me great pleasure to receive this award on their behalf.”

The 19 apartments were released on 7th July, and Chief Executive of Story Homes, Fred Story added “We are delighted with Davids achievements over the past three years as it recognises his hard work and dedication. He has continued to build on his success and it is testament to his management skills that he has been short-listed for the third year running. As with last year, we all wish him every success. With regards to Tudor Court, Im really pleased with the development, the launch weekend was very busy and sales couldnt have been better!”
