Story Homes and the Osliff family

November 2016

Story Homes has had quite an impact on the Osliff family. In fact it has a marriage, a baby, a work contract, two careers and four homes (maybe 5!) to answer for.

Adam Osliff has worked for Story Homes on site for 12 years and during this time he met his wonderful wife Rachael Osliff, who is a Strategic Planner for Cumbria and south Scotland.

Rachael was living in a Story Home on Turnstone Park at the time, and unbeknownst to Rachael, Adams parents moved into a ‘Warwick’ on Turnstone Drive.

Rachael and Adam are now married, with a lovely little girl called Millie and living in their second home at Crindledyke Farm. Two Story homes isn’t enough for them and they are planning a move to their third… just round the corner to a ‘Linden’ townhouse.

Adam Osliff, said “Story Homes has had a huge impact on my life. It’s given me so many career opportunities and I’m really grateful for that. I started out as a trainee and now I’m senior site manager.

“I think it says a lot about our product that I live in a (second!) Story Home. I’m really proud of the houses we build, and they are great quality and I really enjoy my job.”

Adam’s parents, Alan and Valerie Osliff have recently moved to a ‘Guildford’ at ‘The Grange’ in Dalston, which happens to be where Adam is Site Manager.  Alan works for a business supplying office furniture and It goes without saying that of course, Alan supplies all our Story Homes offices.

Alan Osliff said; “We don’t need so many bedrooms now it’s the two of us, and the Guildford is perfect. We’ve been in a couple of months now and we’re really happy – and it’s quite handy having the site manager as your son, although I don’t think we’ve had any special treatment!”

We opened the doors to our new Guildford show home at the on Saturday 5 November. To get a better impression of the show home stop by to experience the quality and high specification for yourself in this 3 bedroom townhouse visit The Grange.

The new ‘Guildford’ show home is open Thursday to Monday from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
