What made you choose Whins View?

“We’ve lived in Harrington for the last 38 years so didn’t want to leave the village, our family and friends and the area we know and love.”

Why did you choose The Sanderson?

“We didn’t look at any other house type as the Sanderson was perfect for us to down size from our previous home. Our previous property was a cottage, so the external finish was lovely giving the house a unique look, but after living in an old property it’s nice not having a long list of repairs and odd jobs to do. The Sanderson has plenty of space and the layout is perfect for us.”


What do you love most about The Sanderson?

“The layout is really well designed, and it works well for our family.”

Which room do you find yourself spending the most time in?

“We spend most our time in the kitchen/dining/family area.”

Why did you choose a new build?

“We were originally going to buy a bungalow that needed a complete renovation, after 6 months of getting surveys, searches and quotes for the work that needed done the property was taken off the market. We were really disappointed, but the buyers of our property were still wanting to go ahead with the purchase of our home, so on advice from family we went to look at Whins View and found a property available which we could move into within a month.”

What do you like most about living in a new build?

“The space is perfect and as a newly retired couple the low maintenance is a real bonus.”

Would you recommend us?

“Yes we’ve already recommended Story Homes to some friends, the service we’ve received has been brilliant from both the Sales Executive and the Site Manager. Nothing has been too much trouble. We were so lucky that a property was available and from seeing the property for the first time on 15 June 2023 to moving in on 14 July 2023 Story Homes couldn’t have been more helpful.”
