After two years, our popular development in Hambleton known as The Pastures has now sold out, with construction scheduled to complete early in 2018.
The development of 51 luxury homes in the village was a highly sought after collection of two, three and four -bedroom detached and semi-detached properties.
It has brought much needed high quality homes to the ever popular village location, with the residents quickly integrating into the thriving community.
The first residents moved into their homes in Autumn 2016 with the last families due to move in early in 2018 as construction on site draws to a close.
Becky Howley, field sales manager said: “We are thrilled with the success of our Hambleton development and are very proud of the homes we have built. This is our first development in Lancashire to completely sell out and we are due to finish the site early in 2018.
“The development is really coming to life with more than 70% of our customers now moved in and we are looking forward to welcoming the last customers into their new homes.”
As part of the development, Story Homes made a financial contribution towards funding extra school places where required. The area will also benefit from the New Homes Bonus, a government grant paid to local councils for increasing the number of homes. The money will be used to improve existing and new services in the area. 30% of the homes will also be released as affordable homes, designated to local people who meet criteria set by the local authority.
Homebuyers who are still looking to move to the area are encouraged to visit Story Homes’ nearby developments at Willows Edge in Wrea Green and Brookwood Park in Kirkham. The marketing suites are open Thursday to Monday from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
